Frankincense Oil: Using frankincense oil to balance the body December 09 2013

Throughout history, Frankincense oil (boswellia serrata) has been used to treat every
ailment known to man. For this reason, its worth has been held to a very high standard.
This ancient oil can be used to assist in a sense of overall balance and calm, both physically
and emotionally. It assists with anxiety, stress, and anger to calm nerves and keep them at
sensible levels.
Frankincense oil contains sesquiterpenes, which contribute greatly to balancing hormones
and emotions. They act to increase oxygenation of the pineal and pituitary glands in the
brain, allowing for ideal balance of emotion-regulating hormones. Predictably, positive
emotions are encouraged when hormones are functioning properly, and this ideal balance
induces feelings of calm, peace, relaxation and satisfaction. The physical regulation of
hormones translates to a balanced emotional state, which in turn strengthens the immune
system, allowing for optimal health and a general sense of well-being. Everyday use of
Frankincense oil is a great way to maintain overall cellular balance.

process.

the wrist, temples, behind the ear, between the toes, etc.
For a quick fix, place 1-2 drops on palms. Rub together and cup hands around nose and
mouth and take slow, deep breaths. Repeat as necessary throughout the day.
