A native to Australia, Melaleuca alternifolia is more commonly known as the tea tree plant. The leaves of the tea tree plant contain a volatile oil which is highly valued for its anti-microbial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties. Commonly added to holistic and mainstream products to treat infections, reduce odor and promote wellness, tea tree oil can also be made at home for use in homemade cleaning products, first aid care, and skin care.
These essential oils works very well in eliminating underarm odor.
