Tea Tree Oil: Using tea tree oil on warts August 01 2013
Tea tree oil is an essential oil derived from the Australian melaleuca tree, and is well renowned for its antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral properties. As a natural remedy for the elimination of warts, use 100%, undiluted tea tree oil, such as Days Island tea tree oil, in order to ensure high efficiency and fast results.
Warts are tiny, hard growths that develop onyour skin and resemble the shape of cauliflower. Warts are caused by a virus known as HPV or human papillmavirus. There are numerous natural, as well as medical methods, procedures and treatments that you can use to eliminate warts. However, it is worth noting that the use of natural remedies, specifically tea tree oil for wart removal, is recommended as other removal procedures may work to cause undesired side effects on your skin.
How to use tea tree oil to remove warts:
Using this essential oil as a natural remedy for the elimination of warts is very simple and requires little effort. Clean the surface as well as the area surrounding the wart before applying a single drop of pure tea tree oil onto the wart and covering it with a band aid or bandage. You can also apply the tea tree oil onto the cloth part of the band aid and then place the area soaked with the essential oil directly onto the wart.
The band aid should then be left on the wart for a period of at least 8 hours before removing it. The area should then be cleaned and either redressed with a fresh band aid soaked with the essential oil or left to dry, depending on your personal preference. It is worth noting, however, that dressing the area affected by the wart with a fresh band aid will hasten the process and lead to faster results.
